Seeking an Automation Technician in the Mississauga area
Overview of expectations:
Maintaining systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules, restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts. PLC hands-on experience is a must. This position is also responsible to meet and exceed department and company objectives.

- Installs, configures, integrates, and upkeeps process automation systems and associated information networks. This includes setting up and supporting network devices such as PLCs, I/O networks, and HMIs.
- Conducts diagnostics on control and network hardware issues, executing necessary maintenance and repairs.
- Coordinates equipment warranty repairs with users and external service technicians.
- Performs component replacements and equipment changes as needed to ensure the efficient completion of preventive maintenance tasks.
- Designs, develops, and writes programs for new automation and enhancements to existing PLC's, computers, configurations, and applications
A degree/diploma in Mechanical Technology, Electromechanical or Similar.
1-3 years experience working with automation
