Job Description

As the Advisor for Indirect Procurement, you'll collaborate with various internal stakeholders throughout Canada Goose to enhance and expedite the management of their external vendors.

Your role entails facilitating vendor evaluations and spearheading contract negotiations. You'll play a key part in enabling Canada Goose to formulate and achieve strategic objectives concerning growth, cost optimization, service quality, and risk mitigation.

What You'll Do:

  • Execute a wide range of vendor evaluations, including RFPs and RFQs
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions in vendor contracts
  • Build strong relationships with internal clients across Canada Goose
  • Assist in managing strategic relationships with business partners to support continuous improvement
  • Proactively and effectively communicate policies, best practices, and supports internally
Qualifications

Let's Talk About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3+ years of direct experience in a corporate indirect procurement function, including category experience in Technology and / or Logistics
  • Demonstrated top performance in prior role(s) showcasing ability to handle increasing responsibilities
  • Experience in program development, competitive bid process, vendor selection, contract review/negotiations, and vendor risk assessment
  • Adaptive to fast paced, constantly changing workloads
  • Excellent relationship building, interpersonal, and influence skills
  • Robust analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrating strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) software
