This is an excellent opportunity to join a global power transmission and automation solutions leader. This role is responsible for the $5m Northern Alberta region, selling to the mining, material handling, aggregates, cranes, hoisting, forestry, and cement industries.

Your role will include a mix of business development and account management, using strong communication skills to deliver year-on-year growth. They have a strong technical team that will assist you with all things engineering, with your role focusing on customer relationships, service, and sales.

Other responsibilities:

  • Performing the selection and sizing of power transmission systems based on customer specifications and needs.
  • Interacting with both national and international manufacturing plants on sales activities and technical issues
  • Working closely with the local technical, engineering, and service teams to ensure long-term customer satisfaction
  • Working with partners and the local sales team to help close deals

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of sales experience.
  • Ideally - Experience in the power transmission industry (electric motors, gear units, gear motors, reducers, couplings, base plates, etc.), motion control, or the industrial automation industry.
  • Located in the Edmonton area. The role is fully home-based.

Salary: $80K - $95K + bonus + car + benefits.
