Not a Permanent Resident of Canada? Our client, an importer of men's sportswear (jeans, t's, hoodies, swimwear, jackets), is looking for a talented Graphic Artist / Illustrator to join their team! Graphic Design :– Developing creative concepts and ideas for various design projects.– Working closely with CEO to incorporate his vision into design.– Designing AOPs, placement layouts and other visual elements for different collections. Branding :– Developing and maintaining a consistent visual identity for each brand.– Approval with CEO or Design director.– Communication with overseas factory on branding comments (quality, colour, size, etc)– Working closely with Production to ensure adequate costing.– Layout design for printed materials, posters, store POPs….– Selecting and using appropriate fonts and typography to enhance design projects. Artwork Production :– Preparing files for print and ensuring they meet the required specifications.– Working closely with each designer to ensure artwork is workable with garment(sewing way, size, placement, etc.)– Identify printing technic (water base, HD, digital, 1way, 2way, etc.)Software :– Proficient in graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,InDesign) and other relevant tools.– Open to use AI applications to aid in branding storytelling. Adaptability and Management :– Being flexible and able to adapt to changing design requirements.– Solving design challenges and finding solutions.– Meeting project deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously. #
