About the Role:
Reporting to the Chief Estimator of our BC Buildings Group, our Intermediate Estimator will be responsible for leading high complexity project pursuits, as well as determining project scopes, accurate quantifying/costing and managing deadlines.
As an Intermediate Estimator at Graham you will:
- Complete estimate quantification and costing of general condition requirements, labour, and equipment, including productivities, material, and subtrade plugs.
- Lead or participate in the bid close on projects.
- Develop scopes of work for subcontractors to provide budgeting assistance on medium-sized projects.
- Select and invite to tender trade partners that are assessed to be financially viable with adequate manpower and appropriate level of expertise to complete the work.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders that reflect and support Graham core values.
Completion of a diploma or degree in a related post-secondary program.
4+ years of a combination of field and estimating experience; design-build experience and proficiency in a variety of general procurement methods is an asset.
Specific experience with estimating buildings construction projects.
Proficiency in the use of Graham software suite, MS Excel, scheduling software (Primavera preferred), quantification software (such as OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Agtek), and BIM modelling is an asset.
Ability to foster and develop relationships with clients, trades, and team members.
Compensation:$100,400 - $138,100 per annum Salary will commensurate with education and experience
