Senior Accountant

Recruitment Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's team. This position reports directly to the Controller, and will play a crucial role in preparing consolidated financial statements for several entities owned by the business. The Senior Accountant is also responsible for the day-to-day accounting transactions of the organization, and processes, records, and reconciles information related to their financials.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Responsible for month end reconciliations and preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial disclosures
• Prepare month end financial and operational reporting packages.
• Conduct corporate budgeting and management accounting activities.
• Manage capital asses, prepare external audit files, and calculate in-depth variance analyses.
• Assist with preparation of full cycle accounting records for various entities, accounts receivable, expenses and accounts payable.
• Establish internal controls, monitor compliance with policies and procedures
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations

Your strengths and qualifications include:

• A relevant university degree or diploma, majoring in finance or accounting.
• CPA designation or currently pursuing designation
• 5+ years of work experience in a similar role
