Stewardship: We responsibly manage the resourcesentrusted to us.The Day Camp Program Coordinator will plan and implement a summer day camp program for children ages 6-11 with assistance from the Assistant Program Coordinator. They will provide leadership and oversight of summer camp staff to ensure the smooth running of the camp and to ensure the camp runs within its budget, in consultation with the Community and Family Services Coordinator and Corps Officers. They will be a motivational, equipping, encouraging leader, monitoring quality control of the overall program and the staff's performance.

  • 35 hours per week
  • 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Mon-Fri
  • May 29 – August 16, 2024

Education/Certifications:

  • Must be a high school graduate with at least one year of post-secondary education (an alternative level of education and experience may be acceptable)
  • Clear and current Criminal Police Investigation Check (CPIC) and Child/Adult Abuse Registry Check
  • First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to attain

Experience:

  • Prior experience planning programs and supervising children is required
