Responsibilities

• Encourage employee relations with the goal of maintaining trusted relationships with leaders and employees and supporting issue resolution.
• Continuously raise the bar through functional process improvements and other valued added initiatives in support of plant success.
• Regularly involved with employee engagement practices to improve morale.·
• Evaluate appropriate business focuses across groups including the assessment of assess effectiveness, and identification of any gaps, or areas of improvement
• Aim to support business goals, enterprise goals, and sector HR strategies
• Develop trusted partnership/coaching relationship with leaders/teams that enhances their impact

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Human Resources, ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
• Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
• Attention to detail and good judgement
• Some background supporting payroll and benefits administration
• Ability to work and converse at all levels of the organization.
• Highly organized and comfortable managing competing priorities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
