Role : Technical Writer/Documentation Engineer

Location : St. Bruno Montreal,QC

Duration: Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Participating in customer base knowledge analysis, identifying training objectives and needs. Participating in the development of training program concepts and requirements.
  • Participating in preparation of supplier standards and work instructions. Revising and commenting on training deliverables from suppliers and subcontractors in order to ensure customer and Company standards are met.
  • Ensuring the relevance of technical information used in training material. Writing and updating the lesson plans, training manuals, and all other training aids. Writing the examinations to be given in the context of course objectives. Writing course evaluation reports.
  • Delivering training courses.
  • Coordinating the regular activities related to training at client offices, such as logistics planning, and ensuring the availability of materials necessary for successful course execution.

Required Profile

  • Qualification as technician in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
  • 7 years of experience Rail Domain
  • Technical educational background and workshop practice are assets;
  • Strong communication skills,
  • Availability for short- and long-term trips (North America and International), and considerable flexibility to work around client schedules.
