Senior E-commerce Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior E-commerce Manager will play a crucial role in leading the daily operational activities of our E-commerce platform, analyzing performance metrics, and developing strategies to achieve and exceed targets. This individual will collaborate closely with the E-commerce Director/Chief Digital Officer (CDO) to drive the overall E-commerce strategy and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the E-commerce platform, including merchandising, content creation, website maintenance, order processing, and inventory management;
  • Ensure seamless functionality of the E-commerce platform, troubleshooting any issues that may arise to the product teams and implementing solutions promptly;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Creatives, IT, and Logistics to optimize processes and enhance the overall customer experience;
  • Analyze E-commerce performance metrics, including sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement, to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement;
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders;
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to optimize product offerings, content strategies, and promotional activities;
  • Work closely with the E-commerce Director and CDO to refine and execute the E-commerce strategy, aligning with company goals and objectives;
  • Contribute innovative ideas and initiatives to drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and enhance the overall competitiveness of the E-commerce business;
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute marketing campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives to drive E-commerce sales and revenue;
  • Lead and mentor a team of E-commerce specialists, E-comm merchandisers, and front-end developers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred;
  • At least 5 years of experience in E-commerce management, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving targets;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions;
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines;
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement;
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels;
  • Experience working with E-commerce platforms (Salesforce is a plus) and familiarity with web analytics tools (i.e., Google Analytics, Power BI);
  • Knowledge of E-commerce best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
