Job Description

Work Term: Permanent

Work Language: English

Hours: 40 hours per week

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Tasks
  1. Conduct studies to determine optimum inventory levels and utilization of machinery and resources
  2. Design manufacturing systems to optimize the use of computer networks, robots, and materials
  3. Evaluate or assess industrial facilities to ensure that all opportunities for improvement have been explored
  4. Implement programs on optimum inventory levels
  5. Plan plant layouts and facilities
  6. Develop flexible or integrated manufacturing systems and procedures
  7. Analyze costs of production
  8. Conduct studies on the reliability and performance of plant facilities
  9. Establish programs and conduct studies to enhance industrial health and safety or to identify and correct fire and other hazards
  10. Assess business opportunities and develop strategies
