As the Dietician, you ensure optimal nutritional care for all residents by conducting assessments, providing ongoing follow-up, and offering professional guidance to the Food Services Department.*Requirements** Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition and a graduate of an approved Dietetic Internship.* A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Residential Care environment*About The Role*_*This position entails one day a week, with the potential for additional hours. You'll also be tasked with covering vacation shifts when needed. _You ensure compliance with regulations and standards, oversee menu planning, and provide consultation on nutrition-related matters. By leading quality improvement initiatives, you promote person-centred care and serve as a role model for the Wellness Model. Your responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, participating in various meetings and training, and fostering positive relationships among residents, team members, and community partners. By upholding health and safety standards, you demonstrate safe practices, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with infection control policies.*Your deep empathy allows you to navigate the complex emotions of seniors with grace and sensitivity, fostering connections built on genuine understanding.
