We are looking for a passionate SENIOR GAME MATHEMATICIAN to join our math team. Primary responsibilities of this position include developing math models for slot machines, producing and maintaining PAR sheets, playtesting games in development, all while maintaining a laser focus on creating the best possible player experience.Slot Math has no secrets for you. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Create math models based on specification documentsCreate and maintain PAR sheetsHelp with a playable prototype creationDebug RTP together with our development teamCollaborate with the Head of Game Design and other Mathematicians to create the best possible player experienceWork closely with the Game Owner, Art Director, and Developers to ensure the final game Math is integrated according to the agreed visionSet and share best practices, tools, production pipelines and workflows within the Math teamFollows the game development, playtest the math models and ensure that it is implemented according to the Math design specificationsParticipate in the Math development process of improvementSupervise all Math documents delivered by the Math teamAbility to work under pressureProvide feedback to the company's management teamPerform other tasks as requiredESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or other related disciplineDeep knowledge of Online Slot games and Math modelsStrong track-record of leading Slot Game Math Design with the successful production of impactful slot games3+ years of slot game math developmentSoftware development experience: Java, C#Version control systems, preferably gitHighly organized, experienced in running multiple projects and delivering to tight deadlinesPassionate in whatever you do and want to make a difference in the iGaming IndustryStrong English written and verbal communication skillsLeadership attitude and not afraid to get your hands dirtyExcellent teamwork skills and ability to adaptResearch, play, and study casino games to stay up-to-date with market trends and competitionHighly organized, experienced in running multiple projects and delivering to tight deadlinesDESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:Slot Nerd or Casino Game GeekCurrently holding a position of Senior Game Mathematician at an established online casino games studioGood knowledge of casino games and real money gaming compliance, jurisdictions, trends, and regulatory bodiesSelf-motivated with a strong desire to learn and stay abreast of online casino game trends and developments/standardsOpen to challenges of learning new languages, technologies, frameworks and approaches to Math developmentBilingual (French and English) is an assetExperience working with project tracking tools such as JIRAPreference will be given for candidates who are in Montreal, Canada and/or who are able to relocate. Preference will also be given for candidates with experience in developing online casino games.
