Reporting to the National Sales Manager, Office Equipment; the Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for the solicitation, marketing, and development of all aspects of new business relationships. This role will cover GTA East, and we require a candidate located in the territory.

Day to Day- Responsible for development and management of vendor relationships and growing existing dealer relationships for DLL Canada
- Primary management of assigned territory
- Expand business base and new dealer acquisition
- Responsible for contacting and maintaining the day-to-day activities of the dealers directly on all transactions and initiatives
- Resolve Program issues (Pending, declines and deficiencies)
- Create, manage, and achieve commercial goals
- Report on transactional activities as required

- College Diploma or University Degree in Business or equivalent experience is preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years sales or related leasing experience, directly interacting with vendors and end users
- Proven sales, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Thorough knowledge of current marketplace trends and activities
- A risk taker and problem solver who can build relationships and leverage energy and spirit to create a winning solution
- A "need to win" attitude and the ability to persevere to see the process through to completion.
- Proficient in MS Office products, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

$68,448 - $102,673 (This role is eligible for sales commissions which increase the target earnings beyond the listed pay range)
DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.
This position is subject to the terms of DLL's compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, pension plan, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are subject to eligibility.
