We are currently seeking a Business Center (BC) Practice Leader for our Environmental Services (ES) Team based in Quebec, Canada. Reporting to the Regional Business Leader of ES for Canada East, you will focus on driving technical excellence and delivering project excellence to local and regional clients. The BCPL leads by providing innovative project solutions, exceptional quality, and execution that exceed client expectations with a continued focus on health and safety.

Your Opportunity

Join Stantec as a BC Practice Leader for our Quebec-based ES Team. The position will involve working closely with other BC leaders to deliver professional services to clients while championing safety, quality, innovation, and risk management processes. The role offers a flexible office and work-from-home setup, with a preference for a technical leader based near our offices in Quebec City.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong leadership in communication, trust, problem-solving, and mentorship
• Lead and inspire technical staff across multi-disciplinary teams
• Identify technical gaps within teams and address them with leadership
• Drive technical excellence for projects and proposals within the BC
• Administer risk management and quality assurance related to projects and opportunities
• Support national business strategy development for ES

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in environmental services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French
• Knowledge of English required for collaboration
