Position Overview:

Reporting to the Human Resources Generalist/Manager, the Human Resources Admin Assistant will assist in the day-to-day Human Resources functions and office administrative activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong understanding of HR principles. This position contributes to the smooth functioning of Human Resource operations, employee engagement, compliance with HR policies and procedures, and general office administration.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assisting in day-to-day Human Resources functions
  2. Supporting office administrative activities
  3. Ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  4. Contributing to employee engagement
  5. Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or similar with a minimum of two years administrative experience
  • CHRP designation (or working towards)
  • Previous experience in an employee relations focused role an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competitive priorities in a dynamic setting
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and UKG
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Adaptable and willing to learn and take on new tasks
  • Fluency in French and English an asset
