Our Timberlands Food Store in Red Deeris looking for a full-time Deli Clerk to join our team.
Full-time: 40 hours/week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Responsibilities:
- Customer service at the deli,
- Prepare sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, special trays, etc.
- Stock, package, slice, and label products for purchase,
- Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment,
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Ability to work independently and in a team,
- Excellent organizational skills,
- Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.),
- Experience with food preparation is an asset; training available,
- Must be over the age of 14 (Employment Standards requires a permit to employ a person age 14 or under; therefore, disclosure is required).
