Essential Coil Well Service, a division of Element Technical Services, iscurrently seeking a Journeyman or Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic for our Red Deer location.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform thoroughPreventative Maintenance inspections to all company assets while complying withall safety, environmental and operational policies, and procedures

• Troubleshoot, repair, andadjust complex hydraulic systems

• Inspect, repair, and adjustdiesel powered units

• Diagnose defects andrepair a wide variety of heavy-duty equipment

• Perform mechanicalrepairs on equipment in the shop and road calls when required

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Heavy DutyTechnician (Red Seal preferred)

• Or currently enrolled inthe Alberta Apprenticeship Program as a Heavy Duty Mechanic

• A valid CVIP license anasset or have the ability to apply for one

• Previous oilfield, coiltubing and pumping experience would be an asset

• Valid Class 5 Driver'sLicense with good driving record required

• Computer diagnosticexperience

• Ability to workindependently in a busy environment with shifting priorities

• Highly flexible withsolid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverseworking environment

• Clear and concisecommunication skills – both written and verbal
