To support these efforts, Stantec is seeking an individual to facilitate the development, continuous improvement, and implementation of Stantec's Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) written programs practices within our HSSE Services team. Under the direction of the Director, HSSE Services, the HSSE Manager will support the organization in day-to-day operations by working collaboratively with business unit and world-wide regional teams to review and improve existing written programs and practices. Responsibilities within the group include: regulatory review, development and revision of programs and practices, documentation, communications, and training related to Stantec's HSSE programs and practices. Coordinate and connect with Quality team as an audit partner for internal and external services. Work in cooperation with HSSE Operations directors, regional HSSE managers and advisors, and HSSE team members worldwide Work with the HSSE team to communicate and implement policies, programs, and practices in line with the HSSE business and communications plan. Computer proficiency with the Office 365 suite of services Training and public speaking Environmental controls and/or management systems A degree or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or a related fieldA Bachelors degree and 10 years of experience in an HSSE role, preferably management level or a Masters degree and 5 years of experience in an HSSE role.
