EnVision is looking for an experienced, motivated, team-oriented person to lead our Designated Substances & Hazardous Materials team. Ideal candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities and demonstrate the capacity to effectively manage internal and external relationships.

As part of your role, you may expect to be involved in:
- Co-ordination and execution of field work associated with designated substances and hazardous materials services;
- Preparation and review of technical reports;
- Management of project financials and schedules;
- Communications with clients to assist with the development and execution of work;
- Proposal preparation and review;
- Ensuring high quality technical work, including field methodology, reporting, and client deliverables;
- Fostering an atmosphere of continuous improvement through on-the-job coaching and guidance to staff;
- Proactively committing to creating a positive work environment;
- Supporting and/or developing Health & Safety programs;
- Collaborating with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projects;
- Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as needed; and,
- In addition, any other functions assigned as part of your employment
To apply to this position, you should expect to have:
- Degree or Diploma in related discipline
- 4+ years of prior consulting experience working in the field of designated substances and hazardous materials or other related disciplines
- Proven success in client relationship management and strong leadership skills
- Comfortable interacting with the public, clients, contractors, and co-workers
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues
- Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn and teach
