We're looking for a Regional Insurance Consultant to join our Insurance team. This role can be mostly remote, however we will on occasion require you to come onsite to our office at 105-200 Graham Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. Reporting to the SVP, Insurance the Regional Insurance Consultant is responsible for achieving the sales objectives of Aviso Wealth within assigned territory of British Columbia and Alberta. Key activities include the development of annual territory sales plans, management of expenses to achieve insurance sales objectives, providing direct assistance to Credit Unions and insurance advisors through educational seminars, workshops, joint field work, and practice management assistance, thereby strengthening existing and nurturing Advisor/CU client relationships. Service – You consider both internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate intent of understanding and putting the clients' needs first. You advocate service excellence and work to deliver solutions that meet the needs. You proactively encourage collaboration, build trust and inclusion, and work to establish effective relationships both inside and outside of the organization Influence life licensed advisors to increase their sales of life and health business, segregated funds or group products Demonstrate an understanding of the advisor's business, providing value-add product solutions to meet end-client needs, and provide timely and constructive marketing solutions Maintain current knowledge of all key products and services, understand the associated benefits and constraints, and use this knowledge to optimize advisor sales activity Liaise with Credit Union Wealth Leaders to help assess advisor development plans, provide sales coaching to insurance advisors regarding financial planning, investment management, and practice management concepts Create, coordinate and deliver sales presentations, workshops and training to Credit Union advisors Collaborate with other Aviso and Credit Union employees to develop account strategies and tactics to proactively leverage opportunities to help the region achieve its overall targets and enhance satisfaction and engagement Support holistic wealth programs which can impact and support insurance sales growth Life License is required along with CLU or CFP ~5+ years of solid sales experience in the insurance industry including life, health & wellness, and segregated funds ~ Strong ability to pick up new technology and experience with the MS office Suite ~ Ability to work independently to achieve goals while remaining within company and regulatory requirements ~ Ability to travel post COVID and available for evening and weekend work when required ~ Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset Excellent health, dental and insurance benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees Matching contributions to our retirement program Regular social events to foster teamwork Aviso Wealth welcomes and encourages applications from all qualified individuals including persons with disabilities.
