Our client, a national Commercial Mortgage Brokerage Firm is looking for a Senior Commercial Mortgage Analyst to join the growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing financial information related to commercial real estate properties and their mortgage applications. In addition to this the Sr. Commercial Mortgage Analyst will possess a strong understanding of financial analysis, real estate market trends and risk management. This role demands strategic thinking and the ability to provide insights to support the decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities

· Underwriting commercial Mortgages from $1M to $250M in all asset classes.

· Focus on underwriting complex term, bridge and construction financing will be required.

· Reviewing, analyzing and problem solving: Leases, appraisals, environmental reports, construction budgets and timelines, quantity surveyor reports (cost consulting), building condition reports, planning reports, letters of interest, commitment letters

· Manage the client/lender relationship from time of signing a mandate to closing.

· Liaising with client Business Developers, lenders, consultants, lawyers, etc.

Qualifications

· University degree in Finance and or related field.

· Min 10 years combined experience of commercial real estate, construction, and banking.

· Ability to assess debt structures based on risk and provide recommendations.

· Commercial underwriting construction experience: Condominiums, Apartments, Low Rise Land Development, Land Servicing, Industrial, Office

· Proficient in reviewing and underwriting leases, appraisals, environment reports, construction budgets & timelines, quantity surveyor reports (cost consulting), building condition reports, planning reports, letters of interest, commitment letters.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $120,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
