Reporting to Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounting, the Accounting Specialist will support the accounts payable process. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Communicate with suppliers regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies, and account details on time Manage weekly payment run. Generate reports related to accounts payable activities Process month-end close, including accruals and reconciliations Adhere to relevant accounting standards and regulations Assist with audits as needed College Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred). ~1- 3 years of accounts payable experience ~ Experience in using accounting software (preferably Oracle ERP and SAP Concur) systems is an asset. ~ Proficiency in Excel ~ Solid knowledge in full cycle accounting and accounts payable best practices. ~ Work Arrangement - Hybrid (work from office at least 2 days a week) Involves mainly sitting at desk and performing computer work.
