About the Company Our client, a prominent player in the logistics and transportation industry, is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in Brampton. This newly created position is a result of their continued growth and expansion.

About the Role Reporting directly to the CFO, you will hold the responsibility for overseeing and managing the financial reporting of the firm's subsidiary company. This entails implementing and monitoring controls, preparing financial reports, managing both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, evaluating credit terms provided to customers and making necessary recommendations, assisting with annual audit, managing monthly MD&A reports summarizing financial activity, and undertaking other projects as deemed necessary.

What You Bring To qualify for this position, you will need a minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Accounting Manager overseeing full-cycle accounting, preferably with a CPA designation in progress or completed. Additionally, you should possess a go-getter attitude, take great initiative, and demonstrate the ability to identify and understand challenges/opportunities. Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
