As a French lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching the French language, analysing French-language literature and developing students' written and oral expression skills. Your role is to inspire a deep understanding of the language.
Status : Contract – Fall session 2024
Location: Lasalle College, Montreal (Quebec) and online
- Plan class sessions;
- Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner;
- Design formative and summative assessments using the competency-based approach;
- Administer and correct assessments;
- Monitor each student and encourage success;
- Be available to students in order to promote their development of the skill targeted by the course;
- All other related tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
- You must be legally entitled to work in Canada;
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Vocational Education or be enrolled in this program in order to obtain a tolerance of commitment to teach;
- Hold a university degree with an option or concentration in the relevant discipline;
- Teaching or have teaching experience in the discipline for one full semester within the last five (5) years;
- Have practised a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least five (5) years.
