Project Professionals Department of Health Inventory The Department of Health is looking to create an inventory of Project Managers (PMs), Change Management Professionals (CMs), and Lean Six Sigma Professionals (Black Belts) for current and future, temporary and permanent opportunities within the Department. Work closely with subject matter experts such as project managers, change management specialists, Black Belts, business analysts, senior leaders and project teams. Identify, enhance and sustain improved business processes, organizational performance and services; Lead and support departmental and health system projects; Produce projects' progress reports, engage, and communicate with various stakeholder groups; Create/track projects' KPIs and monitor benefits realization throughout each project; Provide coaching to project teams and leaders involved in each project; Collaborate with other professionals in your field to advance projects. Create and implement change management strategies and plans for projects. Project Management Oversee all elements of the project life cycle. Make recommendations to project owners on actions required to remove barriers. Help drive a culture of continuous improvement through leading and facilitating process improvement initiatives using the Lean Six Sigma methodology. Performance measurement – support process owners and project champions to define and monitor performance outcomes and measures. You are comfortable and effective working with Executives, external stakeholders, clients and all levels of the organization. Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Experience working in changing and/or project-driven environments, leading and/or supporting projects. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Some positions require written and spoken competence in French and English. Others will require written and spoken competence in English only. Asset Qualifications: Preference may be given to candidates that possess one or more of the following asset qualifications: Change Management training or certification Project management training or certification Experience with project management tools and methodologies, problem solving and change management Experience with quality/process improvement Subject to the response of this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications, in addition to the essential qualifications, in order to be given further consideration. Some positions will require travel throughout the province as per project's needs. For these positions, candidates must possess a valid driver's license.
