Job Description:
In this role the Part Time Payroll Specialist will provide full life cycle administration of salary and hourly payrolls for Canadian companies on a semi-monthly basis including hires, terminations, salary changes etc. Additionally, they will:
- Proactively take steps to ensure payroll runs are accurate and timely including auditing payroll reports
- Respond to all inquiries and resolve issues related to the payroll input and provide information to location administrators as required.
- Implement salary increases, bonuses, etc., in accordance with company policies and processes. Produce gross to net calculations for manual payments.
TMGCT
Job Requirements:
- Canadian payroll certification or equivalent
- 3+ years of payroll experience in a high paced environment
- Knowledge of legal and/or payroll/taxation guidelines surrounding benefits and retirement savings plans, including taxable benefits, tax deductions, etc.
- Experience using Ceridian Dayforce Power Pay
