Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Leader to join our team. As the Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of 5-6 sales reps and support personnel covering Ontario to British Columbia selling food processing equipment. The role is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and driving business growth. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong sales and account management skills, capital equipment sales and a great track record to move into a sales leadership position.

Responsibilities:
-Guide, motivate and mentor a team of sales executives in capital equipment sales into the food processing industry

Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their main point of contact
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their objectives
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management review
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients

Requirements:

-MUST HAVE: A strong track record in capital equipment sales into the food processing industry with deals well over $1 million.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decision-making
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

Pay: $125,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
