Position Type:

This position is a full-time career opportunity for a skilled, and hard-working irrigation professional that enjoys working outdoors. As an irrigation service technician, your duties will include diagnosing, repairing, and servicing irrigation systems (Spring Start-Up, Winterization, Service / Repairs / Upgrades). Regular hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Description of Duties:

• Responsible for start-ups, servicing, winterizing, and programming of client's irrigation systems as a key crew member of the service team.
• Perform Irrigation service calls to WVI's customer service and quality standards.
• Professionally interact with customers to answer any questions they have about their irrigation system and proactively recommend upgrades or changes to improve the system's overall operation.
• Diligently follow and apply safety protocols and safety checks of all tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Participate in the training and daily operation meetings of WVI's service team and commit to ongoing coaching and on-the-job learning.

About you:

• You have experience servicing/repairing / installing irrigation systems.
• You are highly coachable with a demonstrated learning aptitude.
• You like interacting with customers and leaving a positive impression.
• You like working in teams and you have respect for your teammates and others.
• You have prior job experience with outdoor physical labor and able to work in bad weather.
• You have knowledge of and/or interest in how low voltage landscape lighting systems work.
• You can follow verbal instructions and understand detailed job specifications.
• You can drive safely and have a valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record (Required).
• You have a CIT and/or Backflow Certification (Recommended)
