The Supervisor, Technology manages and provides leadership for the effective and efficient delivery of drafting and spatial information services. This includes leading the delivery of innovative spatial technology solutions, and the development of related standards and procedures that add value and integrate with Corporate strategy and business unit priorities. This position is permanent full time. Supervise the delivery of timely services for drafting, mapping, spatial products, and applications, including coordination and delegation of daily activities and monitoring level of service. Provide expertise and troubleshooting support on department managed applications and products. Create and maintain external licensing and procedures for the release of spatial information to third parties and external agencies. Manage and provide leadership to staff and contractors to ensure accurate and timely services. Provide guidance, training, knowledge transfer, coaching, feedback and individual and team recognition, maintaining a positive and productive culture that includes safety, accountability, respect, motivation and effective communication. Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Geography or Engineering. Ability to work on a team while building and maintaining effective relationships.
