About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Account Management to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and managing our team of Account Managers focused on employee benefits and retirement plans. You will play a critical role in driving client growth and satisfaction, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of our services.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Account Managers to effectively manage client accounts and deliver exceptional service.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve client retention and growth targets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, and product development teams, to align strategies and drive business objectives.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes related to employee benefits and retirement plans, and provide insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Analyze client data and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Drive initiatives to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall client experience.

What You'll Need for Success

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, in the employee benefits and retirement industry.
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits and retirement plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
