    Position Summary

    As a valued member of TeamJDMI, you will play a key role in leading the strategic alignment of performance data and data-driven decisions, working closely with our Business Intelligence and Operational teams.

    Duties

    • Develop, maintain and monitor all aspects of a comprehensive Quality Plan
    • Manage the process which establishes standard operating policies and procedures, performance measures and quality assurance standards which are aligned with JDMI and UHN standards
    • Review departmental performance, target inefficiencies and implement improvements both short and long term.
    • Demonstrate complex problem-solving, collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative strategies for business problems, leveraging resources and technology to enhance quality, streamline workflows, and achieve objectives.
    • Support the efforts of the JDMI Quality Management Committees and provide advice/coaching to identify projects and apply quality improvement methodologies and tools that overall heighten JDMI quality and safety standards
    • Collaboratein the development of performance analyses and contributeto utilization management and clinical decision support initiatives
    • Provide leadership and direct supervision to team. Providementorship, consistent and ongoing feedback on deliverables and execution efforts. Performs recruitment tasks including salary negotiations and support for performance issues. Provides formal and informal performance management
      • Masters degree in Engineering, Science, or recognized equivalent
      • Minimum5-8 years' experience in clinical patient care, preferably in an academic hospital environment
      • Completion of data analytics training, preferred
      • Experience managing a high-performing team
      • Knowledge of quality and operational improvement framework
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills
      • Great at building relationships internally and externally
      • Up to date knowledge of current accreditation and regulatory landscape
      • Organized and able to both multi-task and prioritize effectively
