Job Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) – Saskatoon along with the University Saskatchewan, Department of Psychiatry, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, seek full-time and part-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists with clinical and academic interests. The successful candidate will possess a strong team approach and join a collegial group practice of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists who enjoy a broad scope of practice across the continuum of outpatients, acute care and shared call responsibilities. The University of Saskatchewan, College of Medicine , has a province-wide model of distributed medical education. The College of Medicine has a well-resourced framework across the medical education and health continuum that results in quality community partnerships, successful and comparable students across all sites, elevated community health, and better graduate retention. Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists are involved in the teaching of medical learners in Regina and Saskatoon and includes undergraduate medical students, psychiatry residents and residents from other services, as well as continuing medical education initiative supporting Family physician skills enhancement.
