Accounting Analyst The Accounting Analyst is mainly responsible for the construction invoicing and banking functions. He/She will also support the Head of Accounting and Reporting in various projects as assigned. Billing Ensure New Installation and Modernization Department job estimates, and change orders are correctly entered in SAP Liaise with Branch personnel to ensure billing request complies with Schindler's Accounts Receivable policies Process close-out of new installation and modernization jobs including documentation and complete corresponding processes (for example, New Product Service set-up in SAP) Banking Execute banking functions including EFT/wire payment, remittance of source deductions, transfer of electronic data to financial institution, and customer pre-authorized payment Reconcile bank and other general ledger accounts on a regular basis Finance Support Assist in ensuring the accuracy of the Company's accounting records and maintain appropriate internal controls over those records Provide support to Accounts Receivable Department in resolving customer billing issues and daily cash application Assist in annual audit tasks Assist in monthly portfolio reports update, A/R provision, and other areas of finance as requested Assist in annual archiving of finance records Post Secondary degree in accounting or finance or related experience in a similar role Proficient in MS Office SAP knowledge Analytical: Ability to analyze data to develop job costing Competitive Extended Health, Life, Dental & Vision Plans At Schindler Group we value inclusion and diversity, and practice equity to create equal opportunities for all.
