Job Information The Employee Engagement Program Specialist is responsible for leading and managing the employee engagement strategy within the Health and Social Services (HSS). They support the Manager, Strategic Learning and Talent Development in obtaining senior leadership buy-in for the engagement strategy and associated initiatives. This position ensures that employee engagement programs are effectively planned and delivered, including campaign planning, survey design and execution, data collection, report preparation, and communications. They also establish and maintain effective communication linkages with staff within the division, across the HSS system, and with internal and external stakeholders. To be successful in this role you will need to have the following knowledge, skills and abilities: Knowledge and skills to effectively align strategy, people, performance, and culture. Knowledge of leveraging new technology and emerging processes and platforms. Knowledge of behavioral and cognitive assessments, metric analysis and aligning results with employee engagement drivers. Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Time management skills, ability to work with deadlines, and ability to apply attention to detail. Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by: A Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Business, or Human Resource Management, or related discipline, and a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in human resources, program development, or Organizational Development in a role that includes performance or change management, employee communications and using data effectively.
