About the Role

We are looking for a motivated accounting technician to join our team in Montreal! As the right-hand person to the finance director, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's finances.

Here is an overview of the responsibilities:

• Maintain the company's books;
• Record closing entries in the accounting books;
• Reconcile bank accounts;
• Process supplier payments;
• Monitor expenses and identify optimization opportunities;
• Track customer billing (highly automated);
• Process employee payroll;
• Handle government remittances;
• Take on various challenges specific to a rapidly growing company.

Profile sought:

• DSC in accounting or equivalent experience;
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Proficient in the Office suite, especially Excel;
• Knowledge of Quickbooks software (an asset);
• Comfortable working in French and English;
• Attention to detail.
