Pacific Academy is seeking a full-time Head of Student Support & Well-being to commence August 2024. As an integral member of the academic leadership team, the Head of Student Support & Well-being will coordinate inclusive education and student support services across the school.
The Head of Student Support & Well-being will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive, school-wide inclusive education programme including learning support and counselling services.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must:
- Hold a valid BC teaching certificate
- Have an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education and to upholdingChristian values.
- Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith.
- Have a passion for supporting students' holistic development
- Possess a Master's degree or equivalent
- Have at least 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience in a K-12 school setting
- Have experience in K-12 school-based learning support and/or counselling
- Broad teaching experience is highly valued
- Be fluent in oral and written English
- Have excellent communication collaboration and organizational skills
