Bank of Canada Jobs - Solutions Architect

We are currently seeking a Solution Architect reporting to the Assistant Director, Architecture & Data Center Infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with other architects and project teams to evaluate business requirements and define a technical solution in the form of a product or service. You ensure that the integration of services, data flow and infrastructure meet the evolving business and operational requirements as well as standards such as reliability, scalability, and availability.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will work remotely from any location within Canada while the Bank operates under mandatory telework.
• Flexibility for remote work for the duration of the term may be granted.
• In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and further to public health guidelines, preventative measures are being taken to ensure health and safety during the recruitment process.

  Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting
• level of functional (level 4) in second official language.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or another related discipline a minimum of seven years of overall experience across a blend of information technology and business settings
• Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents

• Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
• Experience with cloud, integration, database, or automation technologies
• You will work remotely from any location within Canada while the Bank operates under mandatory telework.

• Exposure to diverse work environments, with a broad understanding of multiple business sectors, hardware and software technologies and IT security
• Experience in a multi- vendor infrastructure platforms, such as, VMWare, Cisco, Oracle, Microsoft and IBM.
