Position Summary

Manages the import/export process and ensures compliance with all required government laws and licensing regulations. Your responsibilities will encompass managing customs clearance processes, import/export documentation, and liaising with government agencies to facilitate the movement of goods. Additionally, you will oversee administrative functions, including record-keeping, reporting, and team coordination, to support efficient and compliant freight logistics.

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Schedule: 40 hours

What you will do

Develops and implements systems and policies to administer documentation processes required to import and export merchandise and materials.
Possesses in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of customs rules and regulations and other related requirements for international shipping.
Resolves complex issues that have been escalated and expedites solutions with clients, customs officials, and shippers.
Oversee the accurate and organized maintenance of shipping, import, and export records, ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements and facilitating audits as needed.
