Seeking an experienced Vice President for executive leadership of corporate strategy, company-wide operations, global supply chain and manufacturing oversight. This position reports to the President and the Board of Directors. Main duties: - Establish the company's mission, strategy and objectives. - Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate overall operations including administration, global sourcing, procurement, supplier/manufacturer coordination, production planning, quality assurance, inventory, logistics and delivery. - Translate President/Board priorities into business plans and budgets. - Direct business strategy, financial analysis and forecasting. - Authorize departmental organization. - Allocate resources and approve major procurement, investment and staffing plans. - Coordinate engineering, software, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, sales, finance and customer service. - Develop global supply-chain strategy and oversee manufacturing of connected devices. - Approve supplier standards and lead negotiations. - Establish controls for supplier performance, quality, safety, compliance and cybersecurity. - Review KPIs and direct corrective action. - Select and supervise managers. - Represent the company with external partners. Requirements: - University degree or college diploma in business, commerce, supply-chain, operations, engineering or a related field (a master's degree is an asset). - 5+ years of senior management experience, with 10+ years in a related industry. - International supplier/procurement/logistics/contract-manufacturing experience an asset. - Strategic leadership, decision-making, financial, negotiation, communication and risk-management skills.
