AI & IoT Research Intern

GAO Group & Aperture Venture Studio are seeking PhD students for a 3 6 month AI & IoT Research Internship.
Join our Research & Development (R&D) team and contribute to Physical AI, AIoT, IoT, AI/ML, intelligent sensing, Edge AI, connected systems, and emerging technologies through research, experiments, prototypes, and proof-of-concept development.

What Youll Work On
Support AI/IoT research, experiments, and literature reviews
Research emerging technologies and applications
Develop and test prototypes and proof-of-concept systems
Work with sensors, connected devices, and edge/cloud platforms
Apply AI/ML to IoT-generated data
Prepare technical documentation and research reports
Explore practical and commercial applications
Collaborate with R&D researchers, engineers, and technical professionals
Who Should Apply?
PhD students from Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, IoT, Robotics, Embedded Systems, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or other relevant STEM and technical disciplines.
Relevant coursework, research, projects, laboratory, or technical experience is encouraged. Knowledge of AI/ML, IoT, sensors, embedded systems, programming, data analysis, edge/cloud computing, robotics, computer vision, or digital twins is valuable. Experience in every area is not required.
