Infrastructure Project Managers (Int.)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for Infrastructure Project Managers motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to lead technology infrastructure projects (servers, networks, workstations, data centres and cloud migrations), plan the schedule, budget and resources, coordinate technical teams and vendors, manage risks and change windows, and ensure commissioning and handover to operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Frame infrastructure needs, technical requirements and scope.
• Plan the schedule, the budget (Capex/Opex) and hardware resources.
• Coordinate the network, systems and security teams as well as vendors.
• Manage risks, change windows and technical interdependencies.
• Track the progress of each phase (design, procurement, installation, testing) and costs.
• Communicate with stakeholders and produce reporting.
• Ensure commissioning, stabilization and handover to operations

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• University degree in computer science, management or any related discipline.
• Five (05) to ten (10) years of experience in information technology.
• Three (03) to seven (07) years of experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager.
• Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, PRINCE2, ITIL, SAFe.
• Experience with one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, MS Project, ServiceNow
• Hold one of the following certifications: PRINCE 2 Practionner, PMP, ITIL 4 Foundation
• Hold one of the following Agile certifications (an asset): CSM, PSM I, PSM II, A-CSM, SAFe Scrum Master etc.
• Experience with cloud migration or data centre projects (an asset).
• Experience in large Canadian public or private organizations.
• Language: French and English
