POSITION DESCRIPTION
FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for a Java Analyst-Programmer motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to analyze business needs and design solutions on the Java platform; develop, test and deploy robust, high-performing applications; maintain and evolve existing systems; and work closely with business and development teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze business needs and design solutions on the Java platform.
- Develop, test and deploy robust, high-performing Java applications.
- Perform corrective and evolutive maintenance on existing systems.
- Contribute to the design of Java application architectures.
- Document analyses, technical deliverables and test cases.
- Collaborate with business, development and quality assurance teams.
- Take part in Agile ceremonies and team code reviews.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- University degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Five (05) to ten (10) years of experience in information technology.
- Three (03) to seven (07) years of experience as a Java Analyst-Programmer.
- Experience with the Java / Spring environment and relational databases.
- Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus.
- Hold one of the following certifications: Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE Developer, Oracle Certified Associate: Java SE Programmer.
- Hold one of the following Agile certifications (an asset): CSM, PSM I, PSM II, A-CSM, SAFe Scrum Master etc.
- Experience with one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence.
- Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
- Language: French and English

This position is based in Levis, QC.
The work mode options are Remote, Hybrid, or On-site based on client needs.
