Java Analyst-Programmer (Sr.)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for a Java Analyst-Programmer motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to analyze business needs and design solutions on the Java platform; develop, test and deploy robust, high-performing applications; maintain and evolve existing systems; and work closely with business and development teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze business needs and design solutions on the Java platform.
• Develop, test and deploy robust, high-performing Java applications.
• Perform corrective and evolutive maintenance on existing systems.
• Contribute to the design of Java application architectures.
• Document analyses, technical deliverables and test cases.
• Collaborate with business, development and quality assurance teams.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies and team code reviews

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• University degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in information technology.
• Eight (08) to fifteen (15) years of experience as a Java Analyst-Programmer.
• Experience with the Java / Spring environment and relational databases.
• Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus.
• Hold one of the following certifications: Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE Developer, Oracle Certified Master: Java EE Enterprise Architect.
• Hold one of the following Agile certifications (an asset): A-CSM, PSM II, CSP-SM, SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (ASM) etc.
• Experience with one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence.
• Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
• Language: French and English
