Business architect

POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for a business architect motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to translate strategy and business needs into target capabilities, processes and operating models; define transformation roadmaps and the gaps to close; engage stakeholders and work with other architects to ensure consistency and benefits tracking

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze business needs and issues and translate them into business capabilities.
• Model target processes, capabilities and operating models.
• Define transformation roadmaps aligned with the strategy.
• Identify the gaps between the current and target states and the initiatives required.
• Engage business stakeholders and arbitrate priorities.
• Collaborate with enterprise, solution and data architects to ensure consistency.
• Support the identification and tracking of benefits as well as change management

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• University degree in computer science, management or any related discipline.
• Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in information technology
• Minimum five (05) years of experience as a Business Architect.
• Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus.
• Hold one of the following certifications: CBA, TOGAF.
• Hold one of the following Agile certifications (an asset): CSM, PSM I, PSM II, A-CSM, SAFe Scrum Master etc.
• Experience with one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence.
• Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
• Language: French and English
