Junior Line Cook

Our client, a leading food production and restaurant support organization, is seeking a Junior Line Cook to join their team. As a Junior Line Cook, you will be part of the culinary operations supporting the food preparation and production team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Junior Line Cook

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Pay Range: $18.60 - $19.60

Employment type: Full time permanent

What's the Job?

• Prepare ingredients and food items according to company recipes, portion standards, and production schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of sauces, soups, proteins, vegetables, and other menu items for restaurant distribution.
• Follow "use first" product rotation (FIFO) and proper labeling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, storage areas, coolers, and equipment.
• Support packaging, portioning, and labeling products for delivery to restaurant locations.
