Forklift Operator/ Walkie Operator

Our client, a leading logistics and distribution company, is seeking a Forklift Operator/ Walkie Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator/ Walkie Operator, you will be part of the Receiving department supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator/ Walkie Operator

Location: Brampton, ON

Pay Range: $21 / hr + 4% vacation pay

Shift: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Unload pallets of products from trailers onto the Receiving dock using a walkie forklift
• Assist with sorting, counting, and lifting boxes when not operating the walkie
• Help with manual offloading of containers and labeling cartons as needed
• Maintain accurate records of received items and ensure proper documentation
• Support team members in maintaining a safe and organized work environment

What's Needed?

• Previous experience in a Receiving or warehouse environment
• Valid walkie forklift certification
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move boxes and pallets safely
• Flexibility to adapt to changing daily tasks and priorities
