Quality Control Inspector (Machined Parts)

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision-machined components, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector (Machined Parts) to join their team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the production and inspection teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector (Machined Parts)

Location: Mississauga, ON

Pay Range: $35.16/hr

Shift: Day shift (roughly 6 to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday). Afternoon Shift (roughly 2:30 - 12:30 AM

What's the Job?

• Inspect finished machined parts to ensure they meet specified dimensions and quality standards.
• Utilize a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to verify measurements and tolerances.
• Compare measurements against engineering drawings or specifications to identify discrepancies.
• Record inspection results accurately and report any quality issues or defects.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and improve inspection processes.

What's Needed?

• Experience in quality inspection of machined parts or similar manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Experience with CMM machines is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills for recording measurements.
