Main responsibilities

• Operate the equipment in the machining department: lathe, milling machine, drill, saw, planer and Xena hybrid milling machine.

• Read and interpret technical plans and make necessary corrections as needed.

• Maintain, repair and modify extrusion dies.

• Perform tests on dies, punches, tools, jigs and fixtures to ensure their proper functioning.

To manufacture jigs for production.

Manufacture various parts according to the needs of the maintenance department.

• Carry out production deployments in accordance with established specifications.

• Comply with quality standards, production targets and health and safety standards.

• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.

• Read and write in French and perform basic calculations.

• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.

Perform any other related tasks.

Proficiency in English is important, as 80% of our clientele are exporters.
