General Laborer

Main Responsibilities:

• Duties and responsibilities required are to perform simple vehicle assembly.
• Required to clean and clear work areas (including spills), clean machines, remove debris, removing waste and prepare sites.
• Load, unload, and transport materials manually or with equipment like forklifts. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Will need to help pack and unpack shipments.
• Assist skilled tradespeople, machine operators, or other workers in various tasks.
• Operate basic equipment like power tools, compactors, or other machinery.
• Must be punctual, hardworking and a minimum of 2 years' experience is required.
• Communication in English and /or French a must

Skills and Qualifications:

• The ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including lifting, carrying, and working in various conditions.
• Should be comfortable using hand and power tools and handling materials safely.
• Must be able to understand and follow directions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a team.
• Should be able to identify and resolve minor issues on their own or escalate them to supervisors.
• Be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members with a strong work ethic.
• Should be detail-oriented to ensure tasks are completed accurately and safely.
• Asset to the company is a Class 5 driver's license and/or more.
• Must be able to operate a forklift
